What it pays for
These cooperative agreements are intended to increase the number of evidence-based falls prevention programs available to older adults, while concurrently increasing the sustainability of these proven programs in the aging and disability networks. This funding also supports a cooperative agreement for a National Falls Prevention Resource Center.

Eligible applicants for grants are domestic public or private non-profit entities including state and local governments, Indian tribal governments and organizations (American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American), faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, hospitals, and institutions of higher education.
