This program supports projects that engage general
audiences with ideas from humanities scholarship through in-person exhibitions and historic site interpretations.
Who can apply
Eligible applicants include U.S. nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, public and 501(c)(3) accredited institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American Tribal governments.

Fiscal year 2025: Interpretive education for a new UNESCO World Heritage site. A temporary exhibition about Etruscan culture featuring approximately 200 objects renowned for their beauty and craftsmanship. A permanent exhibition with more than 350 artworks and objects, accompanied by a digital interpretation tool and a suite of educational and public programs.
