What it pays for
Fellowships and Other Awards to Individuals provide support for individual scholars to produce humanities scholarship, including books, articles, and digital projects. Fellowships are competitive awards granted to individual scholars pursuing projects that embody exceptional research, rigorous analysis, and clear writing.
Who can apply
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, native residents of U.S. jurisdictions, or foreign nationals who have been legal residents in the U.S. or its jurisdictions for at least the three years immediately preceding the application deadline.
