What it pays for
Identify, prevent, or mitigate emerging technological threats that undermine U.S. national security interests by working with allies and partners to: 1) strengthen cybersecurity and resilience against malicious cyber activity; 2) protect critical infrastructure vital to U.S. national security from emerging and hybrid threats; 3) advance space security through responsible behavior, resilience, situational awareness, and protection of space-enabled services and infrastructure; 4) help partners identify and mitigate risks associated with artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, robotics, biotechnology, and other disruptive technologies; and 5) enhance threat awareness and response through improved analytical, technical, institutional, and information-sharing capabilities.
