About this grant

Federal HUD money that Tennessee re-grants to smaller cities and counties for water and sewer work, community infrastructure, revitalization, and public health and safety projects. Each eligible city or county may submit one application per year, and the local share depends on the community's ability to pay.

231 of 487 Census block groups (neighborhood-sized areas) in Davidson County are at least 51% low- and moderate-income. A CDBG project that serves an area usually needs that area to be at least 51% low/mod, so it depends on your exact service area, not the county. Check your area on HUD's CPD Maps.
