Volunteer Energy Cooperative members round up their bills to fund grants for community organizations and projects in VEC's service area, reviewed monthly by a volunteer board. Individuals cannot apply directly, and public schools, religious organizations, political causes, salaries, cemeteries, and animal control are not funded, though PTOs and public church youth groups may qualify.
