About this grant
Secretary of State grants of up to $10,000 that help official county or city archives (or a nonprofit legally authorized to keep local government records) buy archival shelving and supplies, pay for conservation or digitization, hire part-time help or attend approved training. Applicants need an archives line item in the local budget and an active Public Records Commission.
