About this grant

This cooperative agreement is to operate the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) with the purpose to improve national, state, and local communities' preparation to prevent, identify, and intervene in elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation so that older Americans can live with dignity, integrity, and independence. The NCEA achieves this by providing web-based, downloadable, and in-person information, resources, and training to professionals and the public on best practices for preventing and responding to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation so that professionals and the public are better informed about elder maltreatment, frauds, and scams and are better able to avoid or stop them.

Who can apply, from the official notice

If you are a non-USA citizen, you must provide documentation that you are eligible to receive research funding directly from an agency of the United States government.
