About this grant

Clarksville uses federal CDBG money to pay for building and facility projects that serve low- and moderate-income residents. Nonprofits, public housing agencies and other public bodies may send proposals at any time of year.

Rutherford County: only Murfreesboro and Smyrna (the part in Rutherford County) get CDBG money directly from HUD. Groups there apply through those cities. The rest of Rutherford County (the county government and its other towns) applies to TNECD's state CDBG program. TNECD's CDBG program
