For responsive grants, eligible organizations must - a) be located within or primarily serving residents of maricopa county, az; b) be tax exempt under irc section 501(c)(3) or an instrumentality of government; c) have been in active existence as a 501(c)(3), unless a government instrumentality, for at least three years; d) deliver programs which support healthcare and medical research, children, older adults, arts and culture, education, or religious organizations; e) not be a private foundation or ineligible type iii supporting organization.
