The purposes of the foundation are to promote the health and wellness of the residents of East Tennessee and Appalachia and to promote the treatment and prevention of end stage renal disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hypertension and other related healthcare conditions associated therewith by supporting research, development, education, screening, population management and awareness related to these health conditions.
