What to send

The applicant inquiry form is available on the foundation website. Following review of the applicant inquiry form, the foundation team will reach out to the agency with next steps. The foundation uses a formal application, which may be accessed online at www.hcacaring.org.
Deadlines
Grant deadlines are approximately 12 weeks prior to quarterly board meetings (posted on website).
Limits
The Middle Tennessee fund provides grants in the focus areas of health and well being, primary care, basic needs, education and the arts to organizations that have an established relationship with healthcare, a demonstrated commitment to maximizing available resources and a reputation for meeting objectives and delivering quality services with caring and compassion within a 9 county geography in Middle Tennessee. The foundation does not consider requests for: individuals or their projects, private foundations, political activities, advertising or sponsorships of events. As a matter of policy, the foundation does not ordinarily support: organizations in their first three years of operation; individual public, private or parochial schools; churches. The foundation will support 501(c)(3) faith-based initiatives consistent with its mission and guidelines.
