- What to send
- Through oral and written communications each year, the fund will notify the principal of kingman high school of the availability of scholarships during each year. Each applicant will be required to submit a biographical sketch and resume setting forth academic qualifications, background, extra-curricular activities, and any matters pertinent to financial need. Each resume must be accompanied by two letters of recommendation from teachers or other officials at the high school and a grade transcript that has been verified by an appropriate official of the high school. Selected candidates will be asked to appear at personal interviews with the trustees.
- Limits
- Scholarships will be awarded for the purpose of allowing recipients to attend college, university, or other institution of higher education. Funds will be used by the recipients to cover the cost of tuition, books, reasonable living and transportation expenses and other related educational expenses. Each scholarship will cover only one year of post-high school education. Recipients may have their scholarships renewed for additional one-year periods as decided by the trustees.
