The foundation is primarily concerned with lorain county, ohio and communities in which nord family members reside. The foundation is especially interested in projects that bring opportunity to under-resourced people and communities, strengthen the bond of families, and improve the quality of people's lives. Leading program areas of interest are health and social services, civic affairs, education, arts and cultural activities. The foundation considers both program and capital grant requests. Funds are usually granted for a one year period, but multi-year proposals are also considered.

As the foundation reported to the IRS for tax year 2024. Check its website or call before sending anything, because contacts and deadlines change.
