About this grant
One-time state money to buy, build or renovate permanent affordable housing for Tennesseans with mental illness or substance use disorders who are coming home from prison or jail or were previously incarcerated. Requests start at $100,000, and the housing must stay dedicated to this population under a restrictive covenant. An intent-to-apply email is due October 8, 2026.
